Tick-Be-Gone provides organic Tick spraying and reasonable backyard recommendations to Windham, New London, and Hartford counties in Ct and Worcester counties in Mass and North Providence counties in RI.
Rather than use harsh, traditional, synthetic, or chemical pesticides, Tick-Be-Gone uses an all-natural botanical control agent that disrupts the tick molting process. Our agents are gentle on benficial creatures such as earthworms and lady bugs. The products we use are approved by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) and complies with EPA regulations for 25(b) exempt pesticides.
Our gentler method of tick control can reduce the threat of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases to humans, dogs, cats and other family pets.
Tick-Be-Gone is now on Facebook:
Our organic tick control product dissolves the insect egg and larvae eliminating the next generation of arthropod while the cedar aroma creates a barrier of entry making the treated area off limits to flying or crawling pests.
Cedar oil is a natural essential oil that provides a pheromone interruption agent that impairs the insects’ mental capacity (fries their brain). When combined with ethyl lactate, a raspberry bio-solvent it becomes instrumental in triggering instant erosion and dehydration of the insect’s exo-skeleton and subsequently, the egg and larvae. For every insect you see, there are 99 more in egg and larvae stage. Exposure to a water solution spiked with cedar oil and ethyl lactate will destroy the egg and larvae stage, breaking the egg layer cycle and eliminating the next generation of insects.
Our organic tick control product is instrumental in the demise of numerous non-beneficial insects including but not limited to ticks, fleas, mites, mosquitoes, scorpions, beetles, mole crickets, grubs, chinch bugs, stink bugs, spiders, chiggers and many others. It has no effect on beneficial and pollinator insects such as butterflies or bees which are sight-driven and earthworms. It will not hurt any of the amphibians or lizard family but will deter snakes from the treated areas.
The late Dr. Ben Oldag was a world-renowned organic scientist and entomologist, who retired from the Texas Department of Agriculture. His radio show, which broadcasted every Sunday in the Houston area, focused on agricultural issues and had thousands of devoted listeners who wanted alternatives to highly toxic chemicals. His number one choice of insect control was cedar oil which he stated “Would go down in history as the greatest insect control product ever brought to the world market.”
Tick-Be-Gone, does NOT express any guarantee against tick borne illnesses. We only aid in the reduction/prevention of ticks on your property within the treated areas.
